Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Yes, you can use an existing WhatsApp number. However, before onboarding, you must first delete the WhatsApp account linked to that number. If your number is already tied to another Business API, you can migrate it to Knorish after disabling the 2-Factor Authorization (2FA) from your current Service Provider. Alternatively, you can use a new number that can receive an OTP via SMS or a voice call.

What number can I use on Knorish?

You can use any valid number that can receive an OTP via SMS or a voice call, whether it’s a virtual number or a regular SIM number. If you have an existing WhatsApp API account with another provider, you can migrate it to Knorish.

What is a Customer Service Window / Session Window?

A customer initiated messaging session window starts when a user sends your WhatsApp Business Number a message and lasts for 24 hours from the most recently received message. 

Is there a setup fee for using the WhatsApp API?

No, as a valued customer of Knorish, there is no setup fee associated with using the WhatsApp feature inside Knorish. You only pay for the monthly WhatsApp automation add-on fee. 

What types of payment do you accept?

For the Knorish subscription and add-on payments, we accept payments from credit cards, debit cards, UPI, etc. Payments for WhatsApp messaging are made directly on facebook business manager as per their applicable payment methods. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.

Is there a minimum balance required?  

No. However, whenever you wish to send messages, you need to ensure you have enough balance available in your Facebook business manager account to pay for the WhatsApp Messages.

Is the WhatsApp feature available only with the monthly or annual plans?

Please note that the WhatsApp feature is available as a monthly add on and as an annual subscription  on all Knorish plans.

Is it a prepaid billing or postpaid?

All billings are prepaid as WhatsApp for business is a prepaid service. You need to have enough balance available on your Facebook business manager account to send messages. If the balance is over, all funnel-based campaigns and ongoing campaigns will be paused until the amount is recharged.

How can I make payments for the WhatsApp messages?

You pay directly to WhatsApp via your own Facebook business manager account. Please ensure to have enough balance available at all times for the messages to be sent without issues. 

How many contacts can I manage in my funnels?

You can manage Unlimited Contacts inside your funnels. You're only charged for the WhatsApp Conversations you initiate with a user.

Are there any messaging limits?

Messaging limits are decided by WhatsApp directly based on your past usage, account reputation, and spam reports. Maintaining a good account reputation ensures periodic reviews and extended benefits. As you send more messages, while maintaining the health of your whatsApp for business account, the limits are reviewed and updated every 24 hours basis usage. 

Are WhatsApp Conversations charged separately?

Yes, WhatsApp Conversation Credits are charged and managed separately on your Facebook business manager directly. Every time you initiate a conversation (UIC or BIC), the price of that conversation is deducted from this recharge. What does WhatsApp conversational-based pricing mean if WhatsApp is free?

How does Knorish's pricing work?

Knorish pricing has three components:

  1. Platform Subscription charges – Based on your chosen Knorish plan.
  2. WhatsApp Add on pricing payable per month or annually. 
  3. WhatsApp conversation charges – For messages initiated by your business or customers. This is paid to WhatsApp directly and Knorish doesn't charge any amount additionally on this. 

For WhatsApp Conversations initiated by your Business via the Funnel builder or Broadcasts (Coming Soon), you would be required to update your payment information in your facebook business manager account directly. The amount will be deducted as per the applicable charges by WhatsApp per message. Performance reports can be tracked inside the Knorish dashboard as well. To ensure your Business and it’s conversations with your users runs smoothly, we strongly suggest maintaining a minimum Prepaid balance of INR 1000 or above. 

So to summarize, Total monthly billing = Subscription Charges based on your plan + WhatsApp Add On Fee + Conversation Charges charged as per usage.

How does the WhatsApp feature work?
